Sweetgreen- Back Bay

Today was my first day at my summer internship, which is conveniently located 2 stories directly above Sweetgreen in Back Bay. Naturally, I was equally excited about both. Sweetgreen is one of my all time favorite places to grab a salad in Boston and the thought of having my lunch break every day for an entire summer with Sweetgreen right below me was almost too much for me to handle. 

Usually my favorite salad to get from Sweetgreen is the kale caesar (pictured above), which has a base of fresh kale and crispy romaine, tomatoes, parmesan shavings, chicken, parmesan crisps and a tangy caesar dressing. It's super delicious and refreshing. But today, in honor of the start of both my summer internship as well as the new summer menu, I decided to get one of the new salads: the summer snap peas+mozzarella salad and it was not a disappointment! 

The balsamic-marinated mozzarella was delicious and summery, it reminded me of a Caprese salad (one of my favorite summer meals). The snap peas added a nice crunch and of course the spicy quinoa added a nice kick as well. It was a tasty treat and stay posted for more reviews of the Sweetgreen summer menu to come!
